Translating 400 years of Awadhi Chikankari elegance into modern heirloom apparel while securing ethical livelihoods for female master craftswomen.
Kissa Piroi was born from a deep reverence for the exquisite 400-year-old embroidery heritage of Lucknow. In Urdu and Awadhi vernacular, Kissa translates to story or tale, while Piroi represents the tender act of threading needle into fabric—weaving memory, culture, and feminine empowerment into every single knot.
Unlike mass-produced machine duplicates that flood fast-fashion racks, every Kissa Piroi kurti, anarkali, saree, or co-ord set spends anywhere from 18 to 90 days in the gentle hands of master craftswomen across Kakori, Chinhat, and Malihabad.
